Ramadan Kareem!

It's that time of year again! It's Ramadan! The month of fasting, family gatherings, staying out late, eating way too much, praying, watching way too much tv, and getting absolutely no work or studying done! I enjoy this time of year because you get to see people on a more regular basis and just reconnect with people again. Most importantly, you get to sit and eat with your family again. At my house we stopped doing that because everyone has their own schedules so everyone eats at a different time. Now we get to come home early from work or school and just sit and wait for the time where we can all break our fast together. I also have an annual dish party in Ramadan where I invite some of my closest friends over so we can all eat together. Its a lot of fun coz I get to see my friends but its a bit hectic coz I can never actually sit down and enjoy everyone's company. I would be busy running around making sure everyone has eaten, that people go home with their right plates, etc. But its still always fun! So I'm looking forward to it. Ramadan Kareem everyone!
